I loved this watch when it worked. It looked good and was the most accurate watch on the market. Moveslink sync'd with Strava after every download so that was a plus. I also had the heart rate monitor and found it to be extremely accurate and reliable as well. At some point, a new firmware was released and this watch became a useless brick. It holds no battery charge and will not sync with Moveslink. I would give this watch five stars except a $300 plus watch should never have this issue.
Having had Suunto Advisor, x- lander and x5 I thought I'd treat myself to a GPS enabled watch Question was, Suunto or Garmin I opted for Suunto because of the price and other reviews Never had a problem with any of my Suuto watches so there you have it I use it cycling and apart from initially being a little slow to pick up GPS it's great and easy to navigate
Nice watch..i got it for aprx 20k on good discount...its nice watch..features are good..good battery life ...movescount is also very good....i recommend it in this budget range as even garmin FR220 is expensive than this but have comparatively less features and lesser battery life..till now satisfied with performance
E' un ottimo compagno di corsa. Tutte le funzioni sono facili ed eccellenti. Manca un termometro e la batteria non ha una durata eccessiva. Per il resto un oggetto meraviglioso. AGGIORNAMENTO dopo 2 anni dall'acquisto. Funziona ancora perfettamente. I materiali, compreso cinturino, ancora in ottimo stato. La batteria dura quanto appena comprato. Nulla da aggiungere. Lo ricomprerei.
Ich besitzer die Uhr seit 2014.Eine tolle Uhr, GPS funktioniert und findet schnell den Kontakt, der dann auch nicht wieder abreißt. Allerdings konnte ich mir die Uhr erst leisten, als sie günstiger wurde, da der Nachfolger auf dem Markt war. Kaufentscheidend war für mich, dass sie schnellen GPS Kontakt hat, Wasserdicht ist und über eine Wegzurücknavigation verfügt. Den Brustgurt findet die Uhr auch schnell und zuverlässig. Jedoch finde ich den Gurt nicht so schön zu tragen, Ich hatte schon Modelle von Polar und Garmin. Bei diesen Herstellern empfand ich die Brustgurte viel angenehmer. Leider hat der Versuch einen Garmingurt mit ANT+ mit der Uhr zu kombinieren fehl geschlagen. Vielleicht hat jemand eine Empfehlung für mich, welcher Gurt mit flachem, länglichen Sensor mit der Suunto Ambit 2S funktioniert. Mich stört der große, runde Sender. Die flachen, länglichen Sender, sind mir lieber. Gerne würde ich den Gurt der Ambit 3 nehmen, denn auf den Bildern sieht der Sensor wesentlich kleiner aus. Aber lt. Herstellerseite ist der Sensor mit der Ambit 2 nicht kompartibel. Die Apps sind leider zum großen Teil auf englisch und daher rate ich mehr, als ich verstehe. Aber trotzdem habe ich einige installiert, die auch funktionieren. Ich mag meine Uhr und würde mir wohl auch den Nachfolger gönnen, sollte es mal irgendwann erforderlich werden. Denn im Vergleich zu Polar und Garmin, die beide nach kurzer Zeit den Betrieb eingestellt habe, funktioniert meine Suunto zuverlässig und ohne Macken. Vier Punkte gibt es nicht wegen der Uhr, sondern wegen des Gurtes.
