My 9 year old daughter, pictured, can wear it no problems or the elastic material on the safety belt can be adjusted much bigger for large adults with thick coats. The reflective belt reflects on all sides of the body well even with just a little bit of light. I received the belt complimentary for review and there are two reflective strips on the belt that make a good florescent effect. It is lightweight and can be stored in pocket until ready for use. I feel more confident about pedestrian safety while walking the dog, kids going to bus stop in mornings, ect.

I use it while running at dusk as a courtesy to drivers. It's lightweight, extremely adjustable, strong plastic clip that holds fast. I wish it had a pocket for a house key or something but I think it's a must have for every runner, biker, pedestrian, etc out early and late. You can clip it around your waist, torso, backpack, or whatever and cinch it down as tight as you need it.

Personally, I don't like a belt around my waist while running - it feels constricting - so I wear mine like a sash, over my head and one shoulder. I have to expand it to full length for that to work, but I'm a large guy and it does work. Good product, does its job very well, which is to be seen when I'm jogging or walking at night!
