If you don't have the base already, don't waste your money. This picture was so misleading when I purchased it. It's only one of the orange blocks. I returned it since I wasn't only going to use one block.

Last year I had to renovate my mother's home. She is 74 and suffers from Hoarding extremely. I was successful in cleaning and remodeling her home, and getting her into therapy...However she has very bad knees and can't have surgery until she can properly bathe and medicate her body to clear her eczema that covers her from head to toe.

I did not have the resources to buy a step-in tub, unfortunately they are very expensive so I searched online to create the next best thing...

Seeing her dilemma about getting into the bath/shower. I searched online for ways to make it safer. I found bars that I attached to all walls of the stall. Then I searched for a riser that would hold up to 300 to 350 lbs and be wide enough to step on as a platform.

The only thing that I could find that was wide enough for platform use, and work with 300+ lbs was the Fitness Step 4 in./Orange. I chose orange because the color is loud enough to be seen so there is no worry of miss-footing.

She is now able to enter her bath/shower area with ease.

This item serves as a two fold.

Once my mother can clear up her eczema, she will be able to have surgery, and be able to use the stepper for exercising along with her physical therapy. A win/win product all around.

It's amazing what you can find on Amazon. I recommend this product to anyone at any age for any use. It's one of those items you can always find a use for.

This fitness step was misleading. I expected more height, but it is not positioned high enough off the floor to feel a workout is being done properly. I could not receive a refund for this product due to being told it was no longer a stock item. I honestly did not think that made a difference. I was disappointed with this purchase. I gave 2 stars because maybe I will,get creative and find another use for it.
