The cost to performance of this trainer is amazing. It is so quiet I don't even have to turn up the TV to get a workout in. My time is very limited and this fits the bill to get some miles on my bike leading up to a century ride. Although, if you do have time to ride outside...by all means, go play outside! Otherwise this does a great job. The seller is awesome too!

Pros: Great quality, very quiet and smooth. Cons: No resistance adjustment, really Elite?, that was a big letdown. Sold it to a friend and bought instead a CycleOps Mag Trainer.

Built like a tank. I just wish you could lock it open as it tends to fold close whenever I try to move it (slide it) into a new spot.

I'm using a mountain bike with slicks on it as an fyi.

Took s little while to fit my bike - instructions are pretty confusing. Once I got it to fit - smooth ride with solid resistance. Way cheaper than a $1000 spin bike

The trainer is really good for Power Workouts and Training, since RESISTANCE IS HARDER THAN MOST TRAINERS, this isn't a equipment to have a chill workout keep in mind you will sweat a lot, you will get tired, you will hate it... but this equipment and the big amount of energy need it to train in it will improve your performance. I like it because the feel is really smooth and is a challenge to be more than 1hr since my goal was to improve my force of pedaling and my resistance this is amazing... The only down is from the company, the package arrived damaged and incomplete you could see that the components where all over like not properly packed, also a set of legs that supposedly come with this trainer didn't come... So that's why I took some stars from the review, if not it would be 5 stars since the trainer is great.

Be warned: This trainer has a greater resistance that other fluid trainers.
That being said, the quality is amazing and it is very portable and extremely quiet. I use it in an apartment with thin walls and it won't even wake up the dog. This is an amazing product for the price and is backed by a company that is dedicated to excellence.
Notable factors:
+If you are using is with a power meter (you fortunate ba$t@rds), it is great as generated power will be same across trainers.
+If you are using this for training with heart rate/cadence/speed, expect you're recordings to show that you are lacking slightly to your performance on the road. This is because the resistance it higher (similar to a 1.5% gradient at all times; according to my calculations).
+This trainer is not supported on Zwift and if you use the generic fluid training on the program you will have sub-optimal results.
+Like Zwift, any virtual system in which you will race others via cpu will lead to frustration, unless you are a cycling god

Bottom line: I love the trainer and would make the purchase all over again but am a little sad it is limited in the virtual riding world.

PS. I'm not paid to endorse Zwift, but if you are a training cyclist or even just looking for an entertaining workout you should give it a try (it free right now)
