Streamlight Knucklehead Articulating Head Rechargeable LED Work Light with Clip, Charger Sold Separately The Knucklehead is a lightweight, rechargeable and handheld work light featuring an extremely strong (removable) magnet with 135-pound pull strength, the latest in C4 power LED technology, microprocessor controlled high and low intensity modes, emergency flash and moonlight mode. A rubber dome push-button actuator is easy to operate, even when wearing heavy gloves. An alligator clip can be used to attach the light to turnout gear. The magnet and clip gives first responders a variety of ways to target bright white light. It can also stand on its own or be laid on its side; and with a 210-degree articulating head that rotates 360-degrees. Incredibly versatile, the Knucklehead is designed to put light where it's needed. Bright and Powerful The Knucklehead features a flood light with dual C4 premium LED technology for extreme brightness, impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime. Dual wide pattern parabolic reflectors, inset into a larger textured reflector, provide a smooth flood pattern for close-up task work. The spot light features one C4 LED, also impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime and featuring a single parabolic reflector with a tighter beam for longer range target illumination. Optimized electronics provide regulated intensity. The Knucklehead features four light modes: High with 1150 candela peak beam intensity and 200 lumens; Low with 350 candela peak beam intensity; and 63 lumens with Moonlight and Flash. Battery and Charging The Knucklehead features a dual power source: a rechargeable Ni-Cd battery pack or four AA alkaline batteries. The industrial rechargeable Ni-Cd 4.8-volt, 1.8-amp-hour, 4-cell sub-C battery can be recharged up to 1,000 times. An optional four AA alkaline non-rechargeable battery pack provides fast replacement with readily available batteries. AC and DC one-hour fast chargers, with full charge indicators, are designed specifically for AC or DC power sources. The universal Steady Charger, which requires up to 10 hours for a complete charge, can be used with 110-volt, 120-volt, 230-volt, 240-volt, or 12-volt DC by exchanging its charge cord. The PiggyBack charger allows for simultaneously charging of the Knucklehead and a spare battery so you always have a light when you need it. Built to Last The Knucklehead's housing, base and battery housing are made from high-impact super tough nylon polymer that offers exceptional durability and features a one-way valve for case venting. All openings are O-ring sealed for weather resistance. The circular rare-earth magnet is surrounded by a durable nickel-plated steel housing. The lens is crafted from unbreakable polycarbonate with silicone anti-scratch coating assembled in a heavy duty bezel. Designed for extremely long life, the push button switch is sonic-welded. The Knucklehead work light is 2-meter impact-resistance tested and IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation.
